Description
The Invitrogen Attune NxT Flow Cytometer is a cutting-edge instrument designed for various cellular analysis applications, including immunophenotyping, cell cycle analysis, detection of rare events, stem cell analysis, cancer and apoptosis studies, and microbiological assays. This versatility makes it a valuable addition to laboratories today and helps future-proof them for upcoming scientific demands.
We have been using the Attune NXT cytometer for 4 months with complete satisfaction. It’s not only stylish and has an extremely small footprint, but it is extremely efficient, fast and out performs all the other cytometers we have used in the past. The 4 laser capacity makes multiplexing feasible and easy, and the added automatic compensation takes the hassle out of manual compensation. The best feature is that we have yet to clog the machine with our debris-rich primary tumor samples. Of course, the acoustic technology greatly facilitates the identification of small populations, like cancer stem cells, increasing our capacity to detect and quantify these rare events with high efficiency and reliability. The instrument has lived up to our expectations at all levels. The software is also easy to use, but takes time to get used to. It’s like going from a PC to a Mac, but in no time we have mastered the very user friendly application

Invitrogen Attune NxT Features
The innovative combination of acoustic focusing technology and traditional hydrodynamic focusing results in acquisition speeds up to 10X faster than other flow cytometers. This technology reduces the time needed to obtain results.
- True 35,000 event/sec (+10% coincidence rates)
- Maximum electronic speed of 65,000 events/sec
- Analyze small or limited samples faster than ever
- Efficiently run traditionally long assays
- Flexibility—1 to 4 lasers, 14 colors, and 16 parameters
- Field upgradeable—choose to add additional lasers when you decide
- Customizable bandpass filters for expanded fluorochrome choices
- Flexibility in sample concentrations and sample types
- Elimination of time-consuming concentration steps with No-Wash, No-Lyse Filter Kit
- Analysis of dilute samples, including CSF, stem cells, mouse bone marrow, mouse blood, and thin needle aspirates
- Acquisition of a high volume of samples in minimal time
The Attune NxT Flow Cytometer is ideal for immunophenotyping and signaling studies, cell cycle analysis, detecting rare events, stem cell analysis, cancer and apoptosis studies, microbiological assays, and more.
Equipped to handle the most commonly used fluorophores and fluorescent proteins in flow cytometry, it offers the ability to match the panels currently used by researchers. It also can detect multiple fluorescent proteins, especially when equipped with an optional 561 nm laser.
It’s not just the technical capabilities that make the Attune NxT stand out; it is also user-friendly, even for those new to flow cytometry. With a design that supports up to 4 lasers and 16 parameters, this benchtop instrument is compact yet powerful. Incorporating innovative acoustic technology simplifies its operation while making multiparametric flow cytometry more accessible.
The cytometer’s high sensitivity and throughput do not come at the cost of performance accuracy, thanks to its acoustic focusing technology. This technology grants more significant control over the sample, enabling increased flow rates without compromising cellular populations or detection sensitivity.
Lastly, the Attune NxT is a system that is constantly evolving, with more options, increased flexibility, and software updates that boost performance, reliability, and robustness. Its compact and innovative design continues to progress, adding new functionalities and capabilities to meet the ever-growing demands of multiparametric flow cytometry.
